Dr. Hans Erik Henkus completed his medical studies at the University of Amsterdam and his Orthopaedic training in The Hague. He is one of the founders of the Direct Anterior Approach for Total Hip surgery in the Netherlands. In addition, he is specialized in revision surgeries of hip prostheses and in primary total knee prostheses.
Dr. Hernández studied medicine in the University of UCLA in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, where after completing the general medical graduation he specialized in orthopedic surgery between 1999 and 2003. For 13 years he worked in different private hospitals of Venezuela. He is currently part of the medical team at Hospital Ceram. He resides in the Costa del Sol, is married to Liggia Helena and has two children. He is passionate about football and cinema.
